Paula Stokes å 9 charactersNOTE TO REVIEWERS FYI I made Lot Of Changesadditions To The ARC For of changesadditions to the ARC For check out this blog postI first had the idea for LIARS INC back in 2010 but I sat on the idea for lmost year because Nobodys Angel (Willow Park, although I knew the plotnd twists I was struggling with the character motivations I started writing in 2011 nd finished in early 2012 This is bsolutely standalone though there re ll kinds of companion novel ideas floating round in my brain I hope you like Max Cantrell Defending Hearts and his friends Prestonnd Parvati s much s I do Instead of doing USUAL REVIEW I LL TELL usual review I tell why you need to read this book in different way I m going to compare Liars Inc nd its characters plot etc with various people nd objects 1 If Liars Inc would be dessert it would be dark chocolate Rich creamy in way with touch of darkness Feel the Heat (Phoenix Agency, and sweetness2 If Max the main character wasn nimal he would be dog He s helpful even if he s not completely moral protective over his family friends Sudden Fury (The Last Gunfighter, and girlfriendnd Spiky absolutelydorable He s the kind of guy you want with you every step of the way3 If Parvati the heroine was place she would be dark lley Dark lleys can serve Dungeon of Death as comforting place but it s lso uite mysterious inside She s lways been there for Max but of course everybody has their own little secrets no4 If the relationships romance friends Love Rockets and family wise in this book were people they would be babies you would just want to suish their cheeksnd huge them forever Just like babies the relationships in this book were s gorgeous s little A Deceptive Homecoming (Hattie Davish Mystery, angels They ll make you want to sueal laughnd cry long with themOverall Liars Inc is definitely must read for fans of well crafted thrillers with touch of romance friendship nd family Y ll re going to love Max nd the rest of the gang Paula Stokes is friend of mine In fact she s my roommate from book tour together last summer when our YA books first came out But I tell you that to tell you this even though I seem biased with this reviewI swear on every book ever written that I m not Even if I didn t know Paula Stokes I d still say that LIARS INC was super fun book with super surprise ending I love murder mystery books I m The Hired Man a big fan of Pretty Little Liars the books Veronica Marsnd basically nything that has murder nd mystery in one work LIARS INC has great voice to start Max the narrator has such punchy solid voice He s got Almost A Gentleman a great sense of humor but he knows when the crap sbout to hit the fan And the crap hits the fan for real in LIARS INCWhat starts out s fun way to make money getting paid to come up with libis for his classmates soon turns incredibly dark when Max s best friend disappears And then ends up dead nd the blame is pinned on Max Now it s up to him to discover the truth And oh by the way the cops re chasing him down while he s trying to prove he did itThere s tense romantic side story some darkness some light nd overall it s very uick easy read Paula Stokes writes very convincing high school dude nd I m excited to see what she s got coming up next for YA readers As I plummet through the crisp night Here by the Bloods air I thinkbout whether things might have been different if I had just told the truth from the beginning A few weeks go there was trending topic on Twitter to my great musement For those who missed it here s fantastic nd bsolutely hilarious summary of the highlights sums up what book s plot would be if the inconvenient nd boring reality of life had occurred instead of the highly improbable events that usually occcur in Young Adult books Granted veryrealisticYA would not make for very fabulous books but it does make one laugh t the plots of some stories But of course some young dult novels Bound (Torn Trilogy, are better believable lessnnoying than others regardless of the implausibilitySome books have the bility to make us relate to the characters believe in the characters support the characters regardless of the implausibility of the plotThis book does not Here is this book s version of veryrealisticYAMurder is pretty serious charge You can go to jail you can try to flee Regardless of what TV shows nd books tell you people usually get caught As dumb s they re made out to be in the media you gotta dmit law enforcement does their job If you kill someone you will likely get caught If you re lying chances re very high that you will be found out What I sh. Max Cantrell has never been Loyalty and Lies a big fan of the truth so when the opportunityrises to sell forged permission slips nd cover stories to his classmates it sounds like good way to make Fortunes Flames a little moneynd liven up boring senior year With the help of his friends Preston nd Parvati Max starts Liars Inc Suddenly everybody needs. .
